OK, it's from Borowitz, but before I noticed that, I had no trouble believing it was true. :-(

interestingly, I saw a definition of 'government' several decades ago in a Heinlein novel:
'Government--that agency that is allowed to undertake acts which, if done by an individual would be deemed illegal.'
I believe that definition to be true generally--but this WH takes it to severe extremes.
