Iran Clock Is Ticking -- By Robert Parry

January 31, 2007
Military and intelligence sources continue to tell me that preparations are advancing for a war with Iran starting possibly as early as mid-to-late February. The sources offer some differences of opinion over whether Bush might cite a provocation from Iran or whether Israel will take the lead in launching air strikes against Iran’s nuclear facilities [emphasis added]. I had a thought this morning. Bush will do whatever he wants, because he now has nothing to lose. He has already reached a depth from which he can never rise. You can't fall out of a well.

yep, wov--
looks like Bush's goal is WWIII.

just had a thought -- the last WW was enough to
get a president elected 4 times. . . .
of course, we've added a Constitutional amendment since then but, somehow, I don't see that stopping Bush/Cheney. they've already done several end-runs around the Constitution.
