This from the LA Times:
Once again, Bush is trying to make a case for invading Iran. The latest I've heard is that the invasion would consist of air attacks only. No surpise there--since we have no more ground troops to send.
But, as this article points out, although the administration has repeatedly stated it will produce proof of Iran's involvement in fomenting problems in Iraq, attacking US troops, providing arms to insurgents, etc. it has, so far, failed to deliver any evidence. The deadline has been pushed back twice-- and counting.

LOL, TC!! Not at the article, which is not funny in the slightest, but that once again we covered the same article. I've heard only one 10 second statement on CNN that BushCo has no proof to counter the tons of propaganda broadcast of Bush's false claims.
well, at least THIS time I didn't steal it from you.
in fact, hadn't seen it over there -- I was pretty rushed this AM and must have missed it.
:)
Hmmmm.... do you think the fact that the deadline keeps getting pushed back has anything to do with that other aircraft carrier on it's way to the Gulf?
Apparently the Iranians aren't as easily provoked as Potomac Pinnochio had hoped for...
oh, lordy, wov[E]--hadn't thought of that!
I just assumed they couldn't marshall any real facts to back up their allegations and know better than to try another soft-shoe like they did in 03.
[well, BUSH doesn't know better, of course, but his staff might.]
Bush is sending away too many aircraft carriers. What if there are none available for him to strut in his flight suit after entangling us in anither hopeless mess?
He'll just have the photo-op in the midst of the carnage.... VERY macho...
