The History Channel As Bush's Dupe

Once again, we see the media parroting Bush's message.
I just saw a documentary/propaganda program on the History Channel. Does anyone really think that it was a coincidence that Saddam's chemical attack on the Kurdish city of Halabja in 1998 was broadcast on 9/10/07?

The next time I hear someone going on and on about the 'liberal media', I think I'm gonna vomit.

I saw nit a while back. They are dupes. They should have included that Donald Rumsfeld brokered the deal that gave Saddam the capability for that attack.

Rush day. Back tomorrow.

I stop watching anything but the Cartoon Network about the 1st of September every year now, and keep to it till about the 1st of October.

I know the "History" Channel is presently engaged in its annual "Turapalooza" but I have no intention of tuning in.

hey, TC--
of course they're not going to talk about that part.

and JR--
sounds like a great idea. I may have to follow your example.
acourse, then I'd have missed the piece about Hawking today. and the one about the neanderthals. and no, I don't mean Bush and Cheney -- they'd need to ascend the evolutionary ladder by several rungs to reach that level.
and Bush, at least, would have to admit evolution exists before he could even begin to do that.

Isn't it a shame the way the right wing has taken over our air waves? Not to mention, the crap they are trying to force through the school system-teaching creationism, and 9/11 propaganda.

I don't watch TV much...except a few of my favorite shows like "The Office" and Keith Olbermann, Steven Colbert...stuff like that.

hi, ME--
sadly, I'm addicted to documentaries. the real thing-- not those infotainment hype things that, so often, pass as facts these days.

when I can't find one, I pull out an old copy of West Wing or a Jane Austen novel. or a back episode of Meerkat Manor works.

but TODAY!! hmmmmph--
you can't turn on the tv without being deluged with 9/11. I'm ready to stick a spoon down my throat.
