This, via email, from my cousin who lives in Virginia:
'They caught someone in Virginia circulating material informing Dems to vote Nov 5--but decided to do nothing to him!!!
Guess they thought the average person would know it was a joke. Seems like a lot of folks are BELOW average, however!'

And my response to him:
If that had been a Dem telling Reps to vote on the 5th, they'd be screaming and, bank on it, the powers-that-be wouldn't be treating it like a joke.

I've been watching the news and there are starting to be a lot of reports of massive vote machine failures in key battleground states -- Virginia, Florida, and Pennsylvania.

We're going to need massive turnout!

hi, kvatch--
in VA, even a paper ballot had a problem. it's raining there and the damp ballots jambed the counter's feeder. :(

so many people are watching this election so closely, tho, I don't think there will be any electronic problems they had the last 2 times.

but, the huge turnout could cause a whole 'nother host of problems -- let alone these blatant attempts to suppress the vote before people even GET TO the polls.
