This article in the Huffington Post seems to put the final nail in Norm Coleman's coffin. And about time.
Of course, the Rethugs aren't going to go down without another ridiculous fight. **sigh**
National Republican Senatorial Committee Chair John Cornyn released a statement on Tuesday indicating that some GOP senators would resist seating Franken before the courts have their say, even if the Democratic challenger is declared the winner of the recount. "I expect the Senate would have a problem seating a candidate who has not duly won an election," Cornyn claimed.

Gee, I wish we'd thought of that argument before letting Bush into the White House.

The 'tards never remember any history. They've proven that over and over again. They ESPECIALLY don't remember when they are a bunch of whiny, crybaby sore losermen.

According to the 'tards, not winning a vote is no bar to taking office-but WINNING the popular vote IS. Wingtard logic at its finest.

hi, JR--
Cornyn says 'the Senate' when he means the die-hard, tantrum-throwing Rethugs.

and he says the election was not 'duly won' when he means it didn't go the way he wanted it to.

I imagine the majority of the Senate won't have a problem seating the guy who won-- no matter what Cornyn says.

personally, I think it's about time we had a comedian in the Senate. it could do with some truth-in-advertising. :)
