British French Canadian we have many great examples but the insurance companies determine right now who lives and dies and make all the illicit profits and they do not want their monopoly to end. That is why all this crap over health care reform.

hey, Jim--
and Congress didn't even try to follow any of these great examples.
they're throwing a sop to the people while keeping the insurance companies on top with their thumbs on the people.

what do you want to bet the program we finally get will be worthless. and the Rethugs will shout it from the rooftops when nothing really changes.

I'd better stop this or I just might vomit all over my keyboard. and, since I don't have insurance, I'll be on my own.

Ity will be worthless. The Industry owns them and they want their monopoly to continue. They want to be the only ones who decides who lives and who dies.

agreed, Jim.
unless a single payer option is included, the whole thing will be worthless.

there are several petitions urging Obama to veto anything that doesn't include single payer.

I wish to heaven he would quit trying to go the bi-partisan route. since the rethugs just want to stop whatever he wants to do, he needs to just work with the dems and let the rethugs explain to their constituents why they want to kill them.

This is a wonderful post. It's so important to tell the truth about government provided healthcare.

hi, libhom--
acourse, blogs like ours are basically preaching to the choir. but what else can we do?

Hi two crows
We will end up going alone! You know there are two economies. The one with the stock market is doing fine. Ours will not recover unless they pass health care reform and they know it. They being both sides!

hi Jim --
oh, yeah, I'm great. just tired of blogging and taking a break.
and sooooo busy, lately!
I was a hermit and the computer was my life. I now live in a community, have made lots of friends and -- well -- sometimes
don't get on the puter till late afternoon or evening.

I'll be back, probably. some day. =)
thanx for asking.

and how're things with you?
