Rumsfeld was the guy who brokered the deal through which Saddam first obtained chemical weapons. That makes his criminal act as Sec Def that much more hideous. Good riddance!
in a just world, he'd be in prison awaiting trial now.
and, it would be a long wait what with: no contact with counsel, no habeus corpus, any evidence that came to light being immediately classified top-secret and disqualified from being used in his defense, etc.
