Right now, it's Monday, November 12, noon Florida, USA time.
On the History Channel, there's a program airing: Band of Bloggers.
The viewer is taken to Iraq in real time -- the troops are taking videos of their raids and other experiences and blogging them online as soon as they return to base [at the 'Internet Cafe']
THESE experiences aren't prettied up with editing and flags and lovely music in the background. Please see this if you can. And pass it on.
WE'VE GOT TO BRING THESE KIDS HOME.

Addendum:
In case you missed it will re-air tonight at 6:00.

It is on again today at 6:00PM EST
thanx, Robert --
I hadn't started recording it till it was almost half over. and, since I was frantically blogging the info everywhere I could, _I_ didn't get to see much of it.
I'll get to see it tonight, at least. :)
Two crows
I missed that. I wasn't able to get at a tvf but I will check the history channel to see if they are going to show it again.
I just kept looking at this and I kept seeing Dec 7 real time and I was wondering what you meant. Oh well! Take care, all right Robert and two crows. I just saw that it will be on again at 6:00 pm. Adios!
Yes, it is on the left coast at 6pm too. Thanks to you and Robert for getting the word out..I will post on my blog about it as well.
I'll have to see if it's playing here. I missed it this afternoon. Thanks for the heads up, two crows.
That was dfefinitely engrossing. I don't know what to say knowing Jimbo will be there this spring as an EOD team leader. I can only shake my head.
I only saw half of it two crows, just maybe I can go to their site and view it.
I missed it too. :'-(
But one great thing about the History Channel is that it will be on 4,568 times in the next 10 years.
