I stay away from docs except when to do so would be suicidal. so, I've been taking blood pressure meds.
but, when my rotator cuff tore 4 months ago, I reminded myself of the old joke:
"Doc, it hurts when I do this."
"So, don't do that."
And, lo and behold, it healed itself.
My cousin had surgery for the same problem and is STILL having problems 2 years later.
My family is rife with examples of unnecessary surgeries, complications due to unnecessary surgeries, etc. etc. etc.
I'm healthier than any ol' computer potato has any right to expect and I think the fact that I stay away from docs as much as possible is the cause.
