Polls show that the Iraq War is judged to be, far and away, the Biggest Problem when it comes to this administration.
I have long disagreed.
While it is certainly of grave importance--what good is 'Exporting Democracy' if there is none here at home?
What good is helping fledgling nations assert their independence [even if that were truly our government's goal--which I don't believe for one second] if the American Constitution is simultaneously being shredded?

Sadly enough the Iraq war and Bush's catering to the rich has also severly hurt the economy.
Thousands lose their jobs each week and goes unnoticed.

this AM I watched a show on the Black Death in Europe. it told of a Jewish man who was attacked, hauled to the church and tortured.
he confessed to things he obviously hadn't done even though he knew he would be killed--just to get the pain to stop.
and, here we are 500 years later admitting confessions gotten by means of torture into evidence.
what Bush reminds me of is a midieval peasant content in his ignorance -- willing to torture people simply because they are different from him.
TC, I think the difference is that the peasant was ignorant. I think Bush's ignorance is intentional.

it fits Bush perfectly. I've read that Hitler was 5th lavel baby -- and look at the trouble he got us into.
I think most midieval peasants were baby souls, too.
