You know, I'm not sure being a reporter at the Washington Post is such a great gig.
After all, I'm sure they can't get health insurance. Who would insure someone who lives in constant danger of poking his tongue completely through his cheek this way? Or someone who is at constant risk of getting a hernia as they restrain themselves from falling on the floor laughing?

The Justice Dept. is probing it's old boss? And asking people who passed muster to get their current jobs under the old system to come forward with how they came to get those jobs in the first place?
And the WaPost is expected to report on the entire exercise with a straight face?

I can see the notes that come back from the National Editor: 'No, you may not say, "Who Do They Think They're Kidding?" This isn't the editorial or the comics page we're putting together here.'

I would not be surprised if Bush takes a look at that report and make changes before it's released or maybe he might wanna write it for him. I was under the impression that the Justice Department worked for the American people, I did not know how much pull the President had over them.

They know damn well he lied. He is never going to admit it he is too close a Bush protege. That is a prerequisite.
Bush does it daily and expects whoever works for him to be able to talk out of both sides of their mouth while their foot is in at and smile all the while.

Uh, why don't they probe whether the sun is hot mot not while they're at it?

Electrode Al was too stupid to keep any kind of story straight, and he did indeed f up so many times even I was wincing.

I wouldn't doubt if Bush circumvented that report because of Presidentrial privelage or some other kind of underhanded game.

If they probed the fusion of Bush's thinking, it would obviously fall flat.

Just the fact that they haven't even approached Monica Goodling to interview her tells me that they are going to drag their feet as long as they can. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't interview her or Gonzo at all. This is just another White House whitewash.

hi, LT--
I think Bush is giving us all an education on how our gov't really works.
hi, AAP--
no one will admit anything, of course. it just blew me away how the WaPo reported this as serious news.
hey, JR--
hee hee! good one. probing whether the sun is hot or not would be just as effective.
oh, yeah, AAP--
Bush'll pull the old 'executive privilege' and 'national security' rabbits out of his hat for sure-- unless Gonzales is compbletely absolved-- which certainly isn't beyond the realm of possibility.
hi, Larry--
Bush? thinking?
hi M E--
yep-- a pointless exercise to keep the masses quiet.
