Trying to Change the Subject

Stating, 'I'm not gay,' doesn't address the issue.
To think it does says where Senator Craig is coming from.
He suggests that gay people regularly approach strangers in public bathrooms to solicit sex.
Wrong. Gay people don't do that. Perverts do that.

And, it's particularly perverted to do that if you're a 'family values' senator who [no I don't know his record -- but I have my guesses] would vote to legislate marriage as 'a union between one man and one woman,' and would claim that the requests by the gay community to legislate against gay-bashing are, 'asking for special privileges.'

and, isn't this SO typical. these folks put themselves forth as the epitome of morality. yeah, right.

dems have been caught in the mail scandal and B. Clinton's shenanigans, etc. but, never have I heard them slander whole groups of people while trying to excuse themselves.

Craig is a Ted Haggard-sized hypocrite. He made his bones demonizing those he sought out in restrooms.

Anyone who still voted Gopper after all this, is probably too stupid to even bother with.

hey, m e--
sure-- when you want to legislate a narrow sense of morals, it's always about what YOU do--- and everyone knows there's no such thing as a gay republican, right?
and hypocrisy? what's that?

I wonder what Buchanan's stand on gayness was 3 weeks ago. I'll bet it was a crime back then. NOW, it's an illness.
when will he wake up to the reality that it's neither?

hi, J R
and to hand the guy his card.
he thought he could fix the whole thing by pulling rank -- like he's fixed so many speeding tickets, no doubt.

as to voting GOP -- oh, yeah, it'll happen. people will find all sorts of reasons to excuse the hypocrisy.
they'll vote on a single issue [I know folks who voted for Bush the 2nd time around because of his 'stand on abortion' [just as if he had one].
the hell with the Constitution, the bill of rights, the war, torture, eavesdropping, the fact that he's an idiot-- just so long as women aren't allowed to make their own decisions about their own bodies.

this is what comes of single issue voting.
